A folio is a cased collection of prints with a unifying theme. The individual prints are meant to be handled, looked at, and enjoyed while sitting in the comfort of your favorite chair.
Folios typically contain 10 prints, a signed title page, introductory text page, and a hand-numbered edition on the colophon page. All prints are produced to archival, museum standards using an Epson SC-700 printer and printed onto 8.5 x 11” archival fiber paper and contained within a fine-art paper case.
My folio cases are made from heavy, fine-art paper stock, hand lined with mat board on the inside back to give the case stiffness and substance. An original print with the folio title is displayed through a bevel cut opening in the case. Projects within folios contain, on average, 10 prints that are printed onto 8.5 x 11 inch archival paper and have my name and the title of the project printed in the bottom border of each image. The image size is about 6.5 x 9.5 inches, but may vary slightly. The images for Folio 1 are from woodlands within the MD, VA, DE, PA area.
